Rabbi David Appelrouth has served the Toronto Jewish Community since 2007. Having worked in a rabbinic capacity at the Forest Hill Jewish Centre and Yeshivat Ohr Chaim, he currently shares his warmth and passion for Judaism with students at Tanenbaum CHAT.
In addition to being knowledgeable in the field of Jewish education, Rabbi David holds an MSW from the Wurzweiler School of Social Work. He has been in the field of addictions with JACS since 2020, focusing on CBT and Motivational Interviewing as strategies for clients in a one-on-one clinical setting. Rabbi David loves to blend his spiritual knowledge with mental health concepts as a co-facilitator of JACS group sessions.
