With over 15 years of experience in education, communication, and leadership, Michelle brings a unique perspective and skill set to JACS, as well as a passion for helping others. As an Ontario qualified teacher and principal with years of experience in the education sector, Michelle’s desire towards fostering inclusive and understanding environments became embedded in her philosophy of working with others. From there, she moved into the nonprofit sector in operations management, fundraising, and event development. She is best known for her abilities to manage complex projects, facilitate workshops, collaborate with diverse stakeholders, and create positive change.
In her role at JACS, she oversees fundraising efforts and event planning and execution. Michelle’s enthusiasm lies in moving the organization forward and towards a wider audience to be able to help more individuals and expand the organization’s efforts. She enjoys working alongside my team and our partners with humor and high energy to achieve common goals and make a difference in our community.
