Lezlie Grossman

Clinical Therapist


Lezlie Grossman is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and who holds a Master’s in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University. Lezlie received her Professional Addiction Counselling Diploma from McMaster University where she graduated with academic distinction. Lezlie also has a Bachelor of Arts from University of Toronto. Lezlie is committed to building strong therapeutic alliances with her clients using the principles of empathy, genuine positive regard, and congruence. She brings a trauma informed lens to her therapeutic approach and has experience using CBT, DBT, SFBT and Narrative Therapy, along with other modalities. She is committed to meeting clients where they are at and customizing her support to meet client’s stage of change and individual goals.

Prior to becoming a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), Lezlie spent 20+ years in communications focusing on behaviour economics and consumer dynamics. Lezlie worked with large corporations such as Johnson & Johnson and Bayer Pharmaceuticals, helping them understand customer needs.

In her role as Client Relations Manager, Lezlie’s goal is to continue to connect with organizations and individuals in the broader community to destigmatize addiction and mental health issues and build awareness and use of JACS services. Additionally, Lezlie facilitates group supports and individual counselling.
