About

Jay Pasternack serves as the Director of Community Development at JACS, focusing on client care and building partnerships with treatment centres and other resources in the world of addiction. Jay graduated McMaster University, Addiction Studies Diploma in 1992. Continuing his studies at George Brown College and graduated the Human Service Worker program with a major in mental health and minor in corrections in 1995.

Jay started with JACS Toronto consulting, facilitating and training in 2004. He was made Program and Outreach Manager in 2009 and served as the Clinical Director of JACS Toronto from 2014-2023. Jay brings twenty-five years of experience as a counsellor, program developer and facilitator to JACS. His unique blend of counselling skills, humor and energy has helped JACS become the leading Jewish addiction and mental health agency in the GTA.
