Social Worker

Jamie is a Registered Social Worker and graduated from Wurzweiler School of Social Work from the joint Master of Social Work/Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (MSW/CASAC) program.  

Alongside providing individual and group counselling, Jamie leads The Avrom & Bonny Silver z”l Youth Outreach Program. She partners with elementary and secondary schools, as well as various community groups to spread awareness, reduce stigma, and create safe spaces for open and honest dialogue about addiction and mental health. Additionally, Jamie heads our Courage 2 Change (C2C) program which equipes post-secondary students across Ontario with various tools and support options through programming such as educational workshops and a student ambassador program. 

Warm, empathetic, and client-centered, she uses a strength-based and trauma-informed approach in her work. She is deeply committed to working alongside everyone on their journey, helping them feel safe and supported along the way.
