Aliza is a Registered Social Worker who completed her master’s degree at Wurzweiler School of Social Work. Aliza specializes in supporting individuals impacted by addiction, including both the person living with addiction and family members. Aliza is experienced with Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Gottman Method Couples Therapy. Aliza also carries a Level II Certification in Trauma Counselling for Mental Health Professionals. Aliza supports both individuals and couples in their navigation of recovery, facilitates weekly JACS support groups and is the lead of the JACS Nafshi program.
