Batya Jenah, MSW RSW – Youth Outreach Coordinator

Batya is the Youth Outreach Coordinator at JACS Toronto. She obtained her Master’s degree in social work from Yeshiva University and is certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. She is registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW), as well as the Ontario Association of Social Workers (OASW). Batya has over 7 years experience working with young adults, teenagers, and pre-teens, including volunteering and internships. Batya’s role with JACS involves outreach with schools, where she will present educational and interactive workshops to students on substance abuse and healthy living.

The Young Adults Group is for those ages 16 to 25+ who are interested in receiving support around their substance use/abuse or other mental health related concerns. “Meet the client where they’re at” is the motto for this support group. Those seeking abstinence or harm reduction are both welcome.
