JACS’ Relapse Prevention group supports individuals in their recovery by gaining insight into the different stages of relapse. This group is designed to teach the signs and stages of relapse in order to help participants intervene before relapse occurs.
This group reviews topics in 3-week sprints, covering a full relapse prevention cycle over a 3-month period with weekly meeting. Participants can join at any time within this cycle. This group is open to anyone within the recovery continuum (i.e., abstaining or following harm reduction) as long as they are committed to maintaining their recovery. Participants can be in recovery from substances and alcohol, and/or behavioural concerns such as sexual and relationship issues and gambling.
The group meets every Tuesday, from 12pm to 1pm.
