Daniela Shapurkar

Community Outreach Coordinator 

Daniela is the Community Outreach Coordinator at JACS Toronto, supporting and expanding community outreach initiatives with a primary focus on the Silver Youth Outreach program, Shabbat dinners, community engagement, and building relationships with schools, synagogues, and community organizations. She works collaboratively with the Clinical Director and Director of Operations to support program development, outreach, and educational initiatives.

Daniela holds an Advanced Diploma in Child and Youth Care from Centennial College, a Bachelor of Arts in Child and Youth Care from Toronto Metropolitan University, and a Master of Education from York University. Throughout her educational and professional career, Daniela has worked with students, parents, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to foster positive relationships, support youth well-being, and create inclusive environments where young people can thrive. She has also volunteered at Sunday Hebrew School and worked with students in public school settings.

Daniela is passionate about supporting youth and families, building meaningful community relationships, and promoting mental health and addictions awareness through education and outreach.
